React Job: Senior CIO

For our US client, Sunbytes is looking for a full-time Senior Fullstack Developer (PHP, ReactJS) with at least 8 years of experience. You will work in an international environment with colleagues from all over the world covering most time zones. Therefore we offer a remote position with a strong international work ethic, working in the New York timezone until at least 4pm (GMT-4).

You will work together with our own developers, but also developers on client side to anticipate and identify the risks and provide appropriate solutions that are secure, scalable and maintainable. Additionally, as a senior developer, we will expect you to help the entire team to grow.

On a typical working day (or night), you will participate in developing stable and maintainable applications to automate the work. In this role, you will function as senior technical support to the Product Owners in the USA. This means being responsible for production environments consisting of mainly high-traffic content sites that need optimal performance and maximum uptime.

Job Requirements

As a Senior Fullstack Developer, we expect you to have the experience with and knowledge of:

• +3 years production experience with PHP
• +6 years of experience as an engineer in software development
• Experienced with Reactjs
• Experienced with HTML5/CSS3
• Deep understanding of design patterns, and the principles of OOP, MVC
• Version management using GIT, Gitflow and other best practices
• Deep knowledge in database design
• Experience with code review, feedback and standards.
• Experience with unit testing
• Working experience with Docker
• Knowledge of WordPress
• Good at communication with non-technical people

Furthermore, as you will be working in an international organization, your English needs to be at intermediate level.

It is a bonus if you have experience with or some knowledge of:

• SEO, Google Ads, Accessibility
• NPM, CSS, BEM, Bootstrap, SOLID Foundation, cross-platform compatibility
• Linux environment
